Overview

This course will enable students to learn the core theory of embedded systems, both hardware and software, as well as gain practical knowledge of embedded application development using a common hardware platform and the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system. There are many tutorials in this text that walk the student through the entire lifecycle of creating embedded applications.

The slides provide a summary of the core principles and theory described in detail in the textbook and covers all the chapters in the textbook. In addition, the slides also cover the lab materials and step-by-step screenshots (taken from the textbook). The slides should be used to present the concepts and materials to students to support and supplement the textbook.
