This series is intended to provide professors with a core set of curriculum that can be used to teach the subject of secure development to computer science students. It consists of 11 teaching objects designed to cover the most important topics in secure development, which range from design theory to best practices and even auxiliary issues, such as compliance issues that are relevant to many sectors.
Each teaching object includes scripted PowerPoint slides that can be used standalone, or integrated into existing teaching materials. Where applicable, scripted demos have also been provided that can help to reinforce key topics. Each teaching object also includes a set of student exercises that may be used as in-class or homework assignments. Solutions for these exercises can be obtained by emailing [email protected]. Finally, each teaching object has been recorded as a screencast to aid in the process of becoming familiar with the materials.
